The focus is on precision and praising.
Angel Dog obedience training has a choreographed routine that assists the dog's training
process. Each person/dog team is individually coached. Various methods and
considerations are applied to ensure your success. All training techniques are gentle,
humane, and effective.
It is suggested that obedience training for most breeds begin around the third or fourth
month. Although this is the ideal period for training, older dogs are usually responsive
learners too!
Puppies are not born with the wisdom of what is proper behavior. If you do not take a
knowledgeable leadership role to teach your dog, your dog will take the leadership role
and create the rules!
Behavior modification for specific problems is available.
Two types of training are available. We can train you and your dog together, or for those
who do not have the time, patience or are in need of the fastest results, Angel Dog will
train the dog for you and then transfer the training to you.
We focus on precision so your dog is exactly where you want them and the response is
exactly what you desire and expect. Have you seen the person at the park who calls their
dog to come and the dog eventually comes by and then heads back to the dog play? He
came, then went. A precision trained dog will promptly and swiftly come and sit directly
in front of you fully focused on you for further directions. Precision gives performance.

manners, and behavioral concerns and so much more!
Intermediate Obedience: Successful completion of Basic Obedience is a pre-requisite
for this course. This course polishes "team-work" and adds the leash distance work,
advanced working with distractions, and is customized to your individual needs.
Advanced Obedience: Successful completion of Intermediate Obedience is a
pre-requisite for this course. This course transfers all previous skills to off-lead work.
